Streaker dies in jail
A streaker who ran past a police car with three officers in hot pursuit has died in jail.
Ross Springham, 29, was filmed by shocked members of the public running nude through the streets of Notting Hill on 21 February.
Footage shows him sprinting along the Westway before a police officer jumps out of his patrol car.
Joined by two colleagues, the officers shout at Springham to stop and then chase him on foot.
Springham was eventually detained in the arms of the officers and bundled into the back of their vehicle after paramedics wrapped him in a blanket.
He was in the hospital wing at HMP Wandsworth when he died.
Springham was due to be sentenced on March 16, but the hearing was adjourned as he was due to undergo a mental health assessment by doctors.
But he died four days later. No cause of death has been made public and the case is expected to be referred to a coroner.
Springham, of no fixed address, earlier admitted one count of indecent exposure.
