Ten years for stabbing the plumber

A pensioner who knifed a plumber to death after he charged him £1,350 to fix a 48-year-old boiler has been jailed for 10 years. William Treadwell, 68, beat Gary Amer six times over the head with a mallet and stabbed him 30 times at his home in Madron Street, Walworth, southeast London.
