An IT analyst tried to blackmail Apple after posting a video of him hacking into iCloud accounts on YouTube, a court heard. Kerem Albayrak, 21, demanded $75,000 in crypto-currency Bitcoin or $1,100 in iTunes gift cards in an email exchange with the American tech giant, prosecutors claim. Albayrak, who lives in Hornsey, north London, appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ court charged with blackmail and unauthorised acts intending to hinder access to a computer.
