Third trial over hostel death

A former police officer accused of killing a fellow resident at a Salvation Army hostel will must wait until October for his third trial. Oliver Hurley, 64, insists he pushed 56-year-old Manolito Chando out of an elevator in self-defence after the Croatian called him a ‘big Irish bas**rd’ and threatened his life.
