Thug beat girlfriend at luxury spa hotel

A violent lover who dragged his girlfriend along the corridor of a five-star spa hotel in front of a horrified guest has been jailed for 12 weeks. Convicted robber Ian Fletcher, 36, launched his booze-fuelled assault on Emilina Petrova at the M by Montcalm, in Shoreditch, east London on 17 March.
