The jury in the schoolgirl electrocution murder trial today
(Wednesday) went to see the flat where 14-year-old Martina Pratt died.
Joseph Nelson-Wilson, 33, is accused of wiring his stepdaughter’s
legs to the mains in a fake suicide bid to evade sexual abuse charges
she had made against him.
The jurors saw the room where the happy and loving schoolgirl had
died a ‘horrific, agonising and lingering’ death as the power surged
through her lower body.
Today the judge, jury, barristers and the defendant went to the
flat in Peveril House, Haddon Hall Estate, Borough, south east London,
to see the flat for themselves.
Another family now live in the flat.
Nelson-Smith, of Dukes Avenue, Chiswick, denies murdering Martina
on June 12 last year.
The trial continues tomorrow Thursday.
