His trains of thought spoke of not only ‘casually killing’ their own daughter but ‘totally and humiliatingly destroying her’, said Mr Wild.
Darby wrote that he wanted to ‘choke the last twitches’ out of the girl before ‘ravishing her body’.
In another letter Darby wrote: ‘We will use her purely for the purpose she was born, a victim.
‘
He also speaks of his undying love for White and pleads with her to acknowledge their romance by providing him with a young girl.

He frequently wrote of their ‘joint participation in taking a young girl’s life.
