A man denied stabbing a wine bar owner to death following an argument, a court heard.

Kenneth Kullman, allegedly killed Raymond Bayliss, at La Maison Rouge restaurant in Rotherhithe after a row in the victim’s bar on July 31 this year.

Kullman, 39, of 14 Beech House, Swan Road, Rotherhithe, spoke only to confirm his name and deny a single charge of murder at the Old Bailey today.

Judge Christopher Moss QC, ordered Kullman to stand trial on March 8 next year.

Kullman was remanded in custody.
