Phone repairman ‘thwarted police investigation’

A repairman who thwarted a major police drugs operation by binning a telephone walked free from court today (tues). Daniel Brace, 40, disposed of the device after witnessing the arrest of Kevin Taylor for conspiracy to supply class A drugs in his phone repair shop in Enfield on 22 March last year. Brace claimed he ‘panicked’ and ran to the back of the shop before chucking it in the rubbish outside when he learnt Taylor was wanted for drugs offences….
