Accused knifeman remanded

A knifeman accused of stabbing a policeman in the armpit after a routine stop and search was remanded in custody. Mohim Hussain, 40, allegedly knifed the officer in Ashmore Road, west Kilburn on Tuesday 28 July. The officer was admitted to hospital as he bled ‘profusely’ but has now been discharged.
