A depressed mother who killed her young daughter by battering her head against the floor will have to wait five weeks to hear her fate, the Old Bailey heard today.

Fulesa Khatun, 50, of Bravington Road, West Kilburn, admitted the manslaughter of seven-year-old Alesa on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
But her sentence was adjourned today (Fri) because it has not been confirmed that a bed is available for Khatun in a mental health unit.
Khatun denied murder and the prosecution accepted the lesser charge after consulting five doctors about her mental condition at the time of the death on October 9 last year.
The child killer, who is married with three older sons, was remanded in custody.
She is due to be sentenced on August 17.
