An alleged armed robber appeared at the Old Bailey
An alleged armed robber appeared at the Old Bailey today (Fri) following a north London bank raid last November.
Robert Beal, 43, is accused of robbing pnds stlg 2,375 from a branch of Lloyds TSB in Kilburn High Road, after threatening a cashier with an imitation silver handgun.
Mr Beal, of no fixed address, spoke only to confirm his name and plead not guilty to one charge of robbery and one of possessing an imitation firearm with intent following the incident on November 10.
He was remanded in custody.
The trial date was fixed for March 26.
