Assange: Britain’s plot to kill reporters

Britain colluded in an ‘utterly reprehensible’ assassination program which targeted journalists, the Old Bailey heard. Clive Stafford Smith, 61, the founder of prisoners’ rights group Reprieve made the claims while giving evidence in Julian Assange’s extradition hearing. Assange, 49, is wanted in the US for allegedly conspiring with army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning to expose military secrets between January and May 2010.
