ATKINSON:TEENS LOSE BRAWL APPEAL
Two Harrow teenagers who were caged for their part in a shocking brawl which left a man with a fractured skull today failed in appeals against their sentences, reports Strand News.
Thomas Llewelyn-D’Amore and Jermaine Paul James Atkinson, both 19, were part of a gang which savagely beat Peter Thomas after an onion-throwing prank went wrong.
In January, they were convicted of violent disorder at Harrow Crown Court and later sentenced to two years’ youth detention for their crimes.
They appealed against the sentences today, but saw their cases rejected by top judges, Lord Justice Elias, Mr Justice Eady and Mr Justice MacDuff.
