Binman sacrificed his life to save his mate from runaway dustcart

A dustcart driver who killed another binman when he failed to apply the handbrake of his 26 ton truck properly has been spared jail. Paul Abbott, 59, was crushed against a wall as he sacrificed his own life to save a colleague and push him out of the way when the lorry rolled backwards.
