Cocaine haul found in pensioner’s mobility scooter

A Canadian pensioner who tried to smuggle cocaine worth £640,000 into the UK hidden in his mobility scooter has been jailed for six years. Ronald Lord, 71, was stopped by Border Force officers at Gatwick Airport on 7 February 2025.
