Coke dealer let off after he claims he was working undercover for the Albanian police

A former police officer who fled to the UK from Albanian after his cover was blown was spared jail despite selling cocaine for gangsters in London. Maurisio Malaj, 30, was working undercover infiltrating the Albanian mafia then transferred to a different unit for medical reasons, the court heard. But he fled Albania when crime bosses discovered he was a cop and torched his father’s car. He tried to seek asylum in England, but was unable to work without settled immigration…
