Six years for drugs mule

A drugs mule who flew into the UK from Ghana with 16kgs of cocaine in his luggage has been jailed for six years. Eric Kusi Appaih, 49, hid the drugs, which had a street value of around £1.3m, in secreted in boxes of food. He was arrested by Border Force officers at Heathrow Airport on 31 April.
