Death at the playground

A 17-year-old boy has appeared at the Old Bailey charged with the murder of an expectant father who was stabbed to death close to a children’s playground. Daniel Frederick, 34, was knifed outside Burns House in Shakespeare Walk, Stoke Newington, shortly before 6pm on 8 January.
