Delivery driver reversed into shop worker

A delivery driver crushed a shop worker to death while backing out of a ‘cluttered’ alleyway at 2mph, a court heard. Andre Pereira Monteiro, 60, was delivering food to the Sadda Superstore in Hounslow when he collided with 47-year-old Arasaratnam Suvendran at around 9.30am on 22 November 2023.
