Fraudsters posed as customers in £540,000 bank con

Two members of an organised crime group who toured the country impersonating bank customers in a £540,000 scam have been jailed. Christopher Parkins, 35, and Nana Owusu, 34, were part of a gang who intercepted post and falsified ID documents, enabling them to steal the identities of their victims. The fraudsters stole bank cards from the post and manufactured ID documents to help them withdraw tens of thousands of pounds from the accounts of unwitting Nationwide customers. Parkins was jailed…
