Insider trader faces jail

A former UBS executive who socialised with a businessman in exclusive nightclubs and fed him inside information to help him make £1.4m has been convicted of insider trading. Fabiana Abdel-Malek, 36, used her access to the investment bank’s database to feed Walid Choucair, 40, tips about upcoming takeovers, including US cosmetics firm Elizabeth Arden.
