Killer ‘toasted murder of his uncle’

A killer went on a pub crawl after murdering his uncle and ‘raised a glass to a successful plan.’ Steven Arnold, 51, repeatedly stabbed Michael Fletcher, 66, to rob him, the Old Bailey heard. Mr Fletcher was found dead at his home in Waldeck Road, Luton, on 30 September last year. He had suffered 47 injuries to his torso, abdomen, head and throat. Mr Fletcher’s bank card was used to buy drinks at a number of local pubs, jurors heard….
