Crooked Nigerian doctor swindled £12,000 from taxpayer

A doctor who claimed nearly £12,000 in housing benefit for a flat that didn’t even exist walked free from court after a judge said he did a ‘stupid and dishonest thing’. Nigerian Olubunmi Adeagbo-Sheikh, 41,  made the sham claim while training to work as a medic in the UK,  from September 2018 to September 2019 He invented a fake landlord and bogus tenancy agreement as part of his application.
