Let-off for shopkeeper who assaulted terrifed assistant

A Sri Lankan shopkeeper who pulled down the blinds to assault a Brazilian man has walked free. Sivasupranam Kajendran, 58, took advantage of his terrified assistant at the Candy Box store in Streatham, southwest London on 17 June 2020.
