‘Lottery crooks swindled £10k’

Three men fleeced the National Lottery out of £10,000 by claiming they were charity workers supporting vulnerable children, a court heard. Atanu Bhattacharjee, 39, Anisur Rahman Khan, 50, and Kabir Chowdhury, 42, received the grant after claiming they worked for the now defunct charity Monakka Monowar Welfare Foundation (MMWF).
