Schizoprenic killed resident by leaning on his neck for 69 seconds

A schizophrenic with an appalling criminal record killed a fellow resident at a care home by leaning on his neck for a minute, a court heard. Rajinder Pall, 45, attacked John Hallissey, 60, at Imperial Lodge care home in Lansbury Drive, Hayes, west London, on 2 January last year. Pall and Mr Hallissey lived in opposite rooms in the 10-room home and were good friends. They were both paranoid schizophrenics but another resident said they ‘never argued’ before the killing….
