Under qualified shrink assessed accused sex offender

A psychologist who falsified her CV and assessed a sex offender while not qualified to do so has been suspended for four months. Dr Claire Evans-Williams, 38, described herself as a ‘Consultant Clinical Psychologist’ on her CV and in official documents to ‘gain credibility’ after entering private practice in 2017. Evans-Williams claimed she held down jobs in Scotland’s Tayside mental health services and stated she was the ‘CPD co-ordinator’ in 2015 despite never attending meetings or being recorded as ‘absent’….
