Prison guards told Muslim to ‘give us a twirl’ in his Islamic robes

An Islamic extremist attacked a prison guard with a shank after being told he could not send pictures to his family, a court heard. Brusthom Ziamani, 25, and Baz Hockton, 26, allegedly lured PO Neil Trundle into a cupboard and began hacking at him with homemade weapons. Prosecutors claim the pair launched a ‘terror attack’ in HMP Whitemoor, Cambridgeshire, on 9 January. But Ziamani claims he was protesting about conditions.
