A Nigerian senator accused of trafficking a market trader to the UK to provide a kidney for his daughter told a court the donor could not have been vulnerable because he came from a big city. Ike Ekweremadu, 60, illegally transported the man to the UK along with his wife Beatrice, 56, and 25-year-old daughter Sonia, it is said.
