Accused road rage killer denies murder

A driver accused of running over a woman who later contracted coronavirus and died in hospital has denied murder. Robert Barrow, 54, allegedly drove over Tahereh Pirali-Dashti, 40, after repeatedly punching her husband on the North Circular Road in Finchley, north London, on January 20. Ms Pirali-Dashti was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital with serious injuries. She died less than three months later on 10 April after contracting COVID-19.
