Back street circumcisor Mohammad Siddiqui gets more than five years

A struck-off doctor who performed hundreds of back street circumcisions which left his young patients screaming in agony has been jailed for more than five years. Mohammad Siddiqui, 58, charged £250 a time to turn up at his victim’s home to perform the operation, often strapping his patients to a board and using just cream as an anaesthetic.
