Biochemist killed his mother and said: ‘I snapped’

A biochemist has appeared in court accused of murdering his mother in the home they shared. Mitchell Denahy’s father went to the house in Waverley Avenue, Chingford, east London, when he became concerned about Beverley Denahy’s safety on January 22.
