Booker ‘did the restaurant for £15k’

A restaurant worker has admitted fleecing a City eaterie out of nearly £15,000. Vaida Puskepalyte, 30, defrauded the Don Restaurant & Bistro in St Swithins Lane by paying deposits left by customers for private functions into her own bank account. Puskepalyte pocketed a total of £14,750 over a period of nine months, City of London Magistrates’ Court heard.
