Caretaker in court over terror offences

A school caretaker appeared at the Old Bailey today accused of disseminating terrorist publications. Mehdi Bira, 45, is charged with three counts under section two of the Terrorism Act 2006 alleged to have been committed in December 2015 and February 2016. The father-of-two appeared in court by videolink from Wandsworth prison, speaking only to confirm his name during the brief hearing.
