Kettle bashing granny

A grandmother battered her neighbour with a kettle, a court heard. Andrea Gale, 47, allegedly battered Georgina Thompson yesterday during a row yesterday (26), fracturing her skull and cutting open her head. Prosecutor David Burn said: ‘The allegation is that Ms Gale attacked Ms Thompson with a kettle. ‘This fractured her skull and caused cuts to her head.’ Ms Gale appeared in court wearing a grey jumper, with a bruise and a cut to her face.
