‘Migrant smuggler’ remanded in custody

An alleged human trafficker charged in connection with the death of 39 Vietnamese migrants in a lorry was remanded in custody today (MON) Gazmir Nuzi, 43, is said to have been part of an international gang ferrying migrants into Britain. Nuzi, from Tottenham, north London, is charged with conspiracy to facilitate the commission of a breach of UK immigration law by a non-EU person.
