MOHAMED: MAN IN COURT OVER FLAT STABBING
A Somalian accused of stabbing a woman to death in a flat is set to appear at the Old Bailey in February.
Unemployed Zakaria Mohamed, 28, allegedly murdered 32 year-old Amina Adan on Sunday November 6.
She was found injured by police who were called to a flat in Inville Road, Walworth, southeast London and later pronounced dead at the scene.
Mohamed was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.
He was due to appear at the Old Bailey for a preliminary hearing today but could not go before Judge Anthony Morris QC because of problems with a prison videolink.
No application for bail was made on his behalf.
The judge set a plea and case management hearing for February 13 next year.
Mohamed, of (flat 6) Albert Wescott House, Alberta Street, Kennington, southeast London, was remanded in custody.
