Nurse suspended over holiday affair with patient

A married nurse who met up with a patient on the beach while on holiday with his wife nearly 25 years ago has been suspended for six months. Laurence Housden struck up a relationship with the woman in 1993 while working on the psychiatric ward at Macclesfield District General Hospital in Cheshire.
