Plumber’s abuse ‘made partner kill herself’

A plumber accused of abusing his former partner for 12 years causing her to take her own life appeared in court today. Police were informed of domestic abuse allegations shortly after Gillian Morand, 36, was found dead at her home in Bexley, southeast London, in March 2020.
