Revenue men smoke out Lithuanian fag smuggling gang who made millions

A gang of Lithuanians smuggled more than 58 million cigarettes after disguising them as textiles, windows, or sacks of charcoal, a court heard. Deivadas Jankys, 33, Edmundas Jankys, 35, Mantydas Seidivarkas, 37, Zilvinas Urbonas, 43, and Romas Urbonas, 48, evaded £14.7m in duty in a sophisticated operation run through Tilbury Docks in Essex.
