Terrorist will lose £89k

A convicted terrorist is facing the forfeiture of gold ingots worth £32,000 as well as £57,000 in cash. Ahmed Aweys, 34, was jailed for 25 months for distributing terrorist material in January 2019. Aweys, who comes from a family of terrorists, received another 18 months jail for fraud in May 2020. He used credit card numbers, passport details and insurance documents to defraud innocent victims.
