Jail for the John Lewis worker who sold stolen items on his wife’s eBay account

A John Lewis employee who sold tens of thousands of pounds worth of stolen Apple, Samsung and Windows products on his wife’s eBay account has been jailed for 32 months. Lai Vi Uong, 47, admitted handling £45,000 worth of tech including laptops, phones and Apple Airpods while employed by the store in Bluewater Shopping Centre in Kent.
