Jail for gun dealer caught with revolvers while banned

  A gun dealer who was caught with five revolvers while banned from owning firearms has been jailed for seven years. Sultan Meer, 29, claimed the guns were antiques but he had been trying to acquire bullets for them from legitimate firearms dealers. Meer was banned was owning guns after he was convicted for a non-firearms related offence in 2014. Detectives began investigating him after he was caught ordering parcels of weapons.
