Machete attacker blinded victim

A machete-wielding attacker has been jailed for over twelve years after blinding one of his victims in what police have described as ‘one of the worst injuries ever seen’. Lenny Draper, 27, together with his friend, Sam Jarman-Hall, 41, attacked a man in his 20s, in London Road, Southend, on the morning of 20 August 2020.
