Bus firm fined for diesel tank horror

A bus operator has been fined £600,000 after a bus garage engineer plunged to his death while working alone on top of a diesel tank. Michael Porter, 56, fell backwards off a ladder while cleaning the tank at the Peckham bus garage in southeast London on 26 May 2011.
