He’s accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend’s dad to death

An alleged killer accused of murdering her ex-girlfriend’s father has been remanded in custody. Daniel Benitez, 32, inflicted serious head and stab wounds to John Davies on May 13, 2016, in Claremont Close, Streatham, southwest London. Mr Davies, then 53, was taken to a south London hospital and placed into an induced coma. On April 1st 2019, he died from his injuries aged 56.
