‘Officer manager did the company for £23k when she was fired’

An office manager fleeced her employer out of £23,000 after she was fired, a court heard. Damini Shah, 26, allegedly transferred clients’ cash to her own account at recruitment firm Papry Ltd between January and August 2020. She appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court dressed in black and did not indicate a plea to the fraud. Prosecutor Matt Barrowcliffe said: ‘The defendant at the material time was an office manager for Papyr limited which is a financial services executive search company….
